  • Registered Nurse – Orthopaedic, Gynaecology and minor surgical specialties, Ward 3B New Plymouth Hospital, Fixed term Part time

About the Role

Applications are invited from Registered Nurses to fill varied temporary Registered nursing positions in our busy 30 bed Orthopaedic, Gynaecology and Surgical Ward (Ward 3
B). 

These jobs are rostered and rotating shift patterns and staff will be required to work 8 hour shifts at the following times:

0645 - 1515

1445 - 2315

2245 - 0715

1030 - 1900

About the Team/Service/ Location

Our team of 30 to 35 dedicated nurses is committed to delivering exceptional care to surgical and orthopaedic patients in a fast-paced environment that prioritises individualised care and fosters a strong sense of teamwork.

About you

Ideally candidates will have:

Recent NZ DHB nursing experience

Ideally engaging in Post Graduate studies

Ideally a strong focus on patient assessment

Suitable for recent NETP nurses

Surgical / Ortho nursing experience

Adaptability and flexibility

Motivation and self direction

Be committed to self directed learning

Excellent interpersonal skills

Current Annual Practising Certificate

Be motivated and willing to learn
