About the Role
We are seeking Registered Nurses who would like to join the Nursing pool at Burwood Hospital.
Burwood Hospital is a modern and easily accessible facility focused on providing high-quality care to every person who enters our services. We are bright, welcoming and friendly; have excellent working conditions and can boast ample free parking and public transport options mere steps away.
On offer is a wide range of clinical environments to keep you interested with the variety of working on the nursing pool.
Roles available;
1x Permanent, part-time 0.6FTE position
1x Fixed term, part-time 0.6FTE position covering parental leave until 5th January 2026
About You
To be successful in this role you will be a Registered Nurse with a current annual practicing certificate.
Your passion and love for your career will be one of your biggest selling points along with your compassion, dedication and fundamental drive to excel in the level of care you provide each and every person. As the role of a nurse can be quite demanding your ability to work under pressure will be desirable but in return for your hard work you will be rewarded with supportive leadership and the opportunity to learn from our multidisciplinary team as you work closely alongside other healthcare professionals.
We encourage professional development and will work closely with you to achieve any academic milestones, in-house courses, and specialised training options to suit your goals as desired.
Skills and experience:
- Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand, with current APC
- Be a confident practitioner with good patient assessment skills
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage a wide variety of people
- Knowledge of and a commitment to Te Tiriti O Waitangi
