Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau District is a dynamic and progressive organisation at the forefront of innovative health delivery, working with New Zealand’s most culturally diverse population.  

The primary hospital for our district is Middlemore Hospital, an 800-bed teaching hospital providing medical and surgical care to a diverse and rapidly growing population of approximately 600,000 people.   The appointee will join existing respiratory physicians and a large Medicine Department. Middlemore Hospital has a specialist respiratory ward. The respiratory medical team consists of 16 Respiratory Physicians, 3 Registrars, a Research Fellow, a Nurse Practitioner and 5 Nurse Specialists.  We have a cohesive team that will provide a very supportive and stimulating environment for a new or experienced physician.


We are seeking an enthusiastic Research Fellow to join our existing team. This position is for dedicated clinical trial research and a key component of the role is advancing clinical research practice within the department.  


You’ll be part of our established team and supported by a professional team of nursing, allied health, and scientific staff.
