Job Description

This growing consultancy is seeking a Resource Planner to join their team in Rosedale, Auckland.

You’ll be the third member of a small, collaborative team, playing a key role in managing resource consent applications across a diverse range of projects. Your work will include preparing and lodging consents, providing early design input, and navigating the intricacies of district plans and zoning frameworks.

About the Role
  • Competitive base salary $70,000 – $80,000 per annum
  • Manage the full resource consent process across a variety of projects
  • Provide early planning input to support design and compliance
  • Liaise with councils and clients to ensure smooth approvals
  • Be part of a small, collaborative team where your input is valued
About You
  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience. 
  • Confident in managing consents from start to finish
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (essential for client work)
  • Strong knowledge of district plans and zoning rules
  • Experience across a range of projects, including complex and notified consents
  • Enjoy working independently in a quiet, focused environment
