Job Description

THE COMPANY:

A NZ-owned family business who offer healthcare products to a niche industry. They work with well-known brands from all over the world and distribute their products nationwide. They also have their own range of products. The team are passionate about providing customer service excellence to all of their customers.

THE ROLE:

  • Build long term trusted relationships with clients
  • Be on the lookout for new business opportunities
  • Detail products and promotions to customers, including technical detailing
  • Contribute to ideas on promotions for customers and other marketing activities
  • Follow up with customer enquiries, complaints and other requirements
  • Monitor the market, stay up to date with industry and market trends
  • Attend training on products, and self-directed learning as needed as well as conferences and events as required
  • Travel up to head office in Auckland every 2-3 months for sales meeting

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Has proven, recent experience in a similar role
  • Is confident, motivated and able to self-manage
  • Has sound relationship-building and time management abilities
  • Is able to work autonomously, but also within the sales team
  • Is resourceful, adaptable and can think outside the box
  • Experience working with a technical product line would be advantageous, but not essential
