Key Responsibilities
Service Tasks:
- Work within a team to troubleshoot, repair, and service HVAC equipment.
- Ensure compliance with international quality standards, health and safety regulations, and legislative requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional workspace.
- Participate in technical projects as required.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations over the phone to end-users, installers, and repair companies regarding HVAC+R products.
- Collaborate closely with the local team and national network to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Update training manuals to reflect any product changes or updates.
- Prepare reports for the Service Manager to address recurring issues.
- Support the parts department by offering technical advice and assistance.
- Electrical EAS / EST / EWRB license. (mandatory)
- A technical qualification in refrigeration, electrical, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in servicing or installing HVAC /related equipment is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for assisting customers over the phone.
- Strong organisational skills to handle administrative and reporting tasks effectively.
- Must be a New Zealand citizen or resident.
