Mō tēnei tūranga - about the role
As part of our Leadership Development team, the Senior Advisor Leadership Development is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating leadership development strategies and programmes. This includes facilitating leadership programmes to empower our leaders at different levels of the organisation. You will build digital leadership resources including videos, toolkits, online modules, and tip sheets. You will also contribute to the development of a talent management and succession planning framework as part of our culture of continuous growth and development.
This position is fixed term from ASAP to 30 June 2026. Ideally the successful candidate will be based out of our NHQ office in Wellington.
Ko tāu nā i tēnei tūranga - What you'll bring to the role:
The successful candidate will have a good background in leadership development and understand its role in driving cultural change across an organisation. You will understand the full people lifecycle and the relevance of effective leadership throughout it. You will bring a background of providing evidence-based solutions that are grounded in best practices in leadership development. You will be a proactive member of the wider team contributing towards wider goals.
To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will have:
- A proven track record in designing and implementing successful leadership development programmes
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
- Excellent relationship building skills, with the ability to relate to a wide audience
- Clear communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organisation
The salary range for this role is $114,663 - $127,404 (pro rata), dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
