You will play an integral role in the reporting and demonstrating performance across the organisation.

This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week
The remuneration range for this role is $92,925 to $139,658 (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience
The opportunity
It's an exciting time in the company where you will support the delivery of the organisation's planning, reporting and decision-making processes on key operational and strategic matters by taking the lead on the monitoring and reporting of performance and related information, to contribute to organisational improvement. This is a growth opportunity where you will get to interact with the SLT.
You will get to:
- Develop and implement the company corporate suite of planning documents
- Provide quality input and support to develop, implement and monitor the planning process
- Contribute to high quality and insightful reporting on the organisation's strategic and operational delivery, performance and risk
- Establish and maintain effective and cooperative internal and external relationships with groups and individuals
- Provide insight and advice around performance improvement opportunities.
About you
To be successful in this role you will bring the following:
- A relevant tertiary qualification and/or demonstrated experience in a policy, planning or performance advisory role
- Experience in continuous improvement of systems and processes
- Strong relationship management skills, including experience building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- A solid understanding of planning and performance frameworks and methodologies
- Good numerical skills, an understanding of statistics and advanced Microsoft skills in particular Excel
- Local Government experience highly desirable.
