This is a permanent position, starting remuneration will be determined by capability and experience.

The opportunity

The Senior Advisor Property and Fleet will manage the collation and analytical reporting of performance and financial value across fleet and property assets and lease arrangements managed by Wellington Water. Utilising this information and your experience you will further develop strategic frameworks and lead commercial negotiations relating to purchasing and lease arrangements. Along with operational and leadership stakeholders you will manage project workstreams where change is required for fleet and property.

This is a role that requires expert advice and input into strategic decisions, and an understanding of best commercial practice, it will also support the development of business cases and lead the introduction of fleet and property processes or frameworks to improve carbon emission and modernisation initiatives.

About you

To be successful in this role you will bring the following:

  • Experience developing frameworks and business cases that lead to improved fleet or property management change
  • Good analytical acumen to monitor, manage and provide insight for decision making by senior leaders
  • Experience developing all-of-government and specialist commercial procurement tenders, agreements and leasing plans
  • Six plus years in a strategic property or fleet management role
  • A tertiary qualification in property, business administration, commerce or similar is desirable
