About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi
Reporting into the Tech & Remuneration Lead, this role offers the opportunity to influence how we reward, support and retain talent at ACC. You'll work within a tight-knit team responsible for everything remuneration related; reviewing our current remuneration model, conducting market research and benchmarking market trends and evaluating the effectiveness of ACC's benefits and EVP.
You'll work with senior leaders across the business and use your subject matter expertise to provide advice and insights on remuneration frameworks (we work across multiple), have input into papers presented to the executive, job sizing, and helping developing policies that are future fit, support the business requirements, and provide rewarding benefits for our kaimahi.
There are busy periods throughout the year, but outside of those busy periods there's time to delve deep, collaborate with your small, agile team and shape key outcomes for ACC's Remuneration and Reward strategy.
This is a permanent role based in either Wellington or Auckland (CBD).

You'll be an experienced remuneration specialist who takes an innovative approach to your work. You'll be curious about what a future remuneration model could look like and have a willingness to pilot new ideas.
You will have:
- Proven track record of supporting business leaders with remuneration queries
- Ability to think critically, grasping complex ideas and bringing them to life in a commercial, practical manner
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data
- A strong understanding of remuneration fundamentals, job sizing, delineation between hierarchies of roles
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders
- Strong business acumen and ability to apply your understanding of business strategy to effectively deliver outcomes.
- Ideally you will have worked in a large enterprise working across multiple remuneration frameworks
- Knowledge of relevant NZ employment legislation.

The salary range for this role sits between $101,287 - $131,077. We offer an additional 9% employer superannuation contribution.
