We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Advisor to join our Commercial Services team for a 12-month fixed-term role. You will play a key role in supporting ICT procurement and vendor management activities, contributing to strategic sourcing initiatives and ensuring robust contract oversight.
Ō pūkenga/Skills and Experience
You will be a self-starter, with a strong focus and great ability to work under pressure. You'll also bring with strong adaptable communication skills giving you the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders of all levels and navigate competing priorities.
- proven experience in ICT procurement, commercial management, or legal advisory roles
- strong understanding of contract management, including legal terms, risk mitigation, and compliance
- ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and competing priorities
- a collaborative and solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
- familiarity with public sector procurement practices and the principles of te Tiriti o Waitangi
- a strong commitment to being a supportive and approachable team player, where colleagues feel comfortable seeking your advice and guidance
- an in-depth understanding of the Government Procurement Rules and how they should be applied in complex situations.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $98,208 and $135,539 based on skills and experience.
