About the Role

The primary purpose of the role is to provide a specialist data management and analysis role within the Northern region office. This is used for detailed business analysis to support performance improvement and assurance for the Deputy Chief Executive, Northern to ensure the on-going delivery of high-quality patient care and outcomes.

The role will:

  • Work with and integrate large and complex datasets, creating new integrated reports and dashboards
  • Partner with relevant business services to improve current processes and reporting
  • Produce informative insights that inform strategic decisions and investments
  • Assist the regional planning, production and performance team in developing documentation for regional and national reporting and related initiatives as needed
  • System thinking – ability to think across the whole spectrum to participate in robust decision making
  • Well-developed SQL skills and report writing capability

About you

You bring advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and a strong working knowledge of SQL report and query writing, including experience with Microsoft SQL Server, database design, stored procedures, indexes, and triggers. An understanding of data warehouse structures and database architecture supports your ability to navigate complex data environments with confidence.

With well-developed analytical and numerical skills, you are able to interpret and present data clearly and accurately. Your communication skills—both written and verbal—enable you to convey findings in a logical, structured, and meaningful way, tailored to a range of audiences.

Highly organised and detail-oriented, you take a proactive approach to managing priorities and meeting deadlines. You are comfortable working independently while also contributing effectively within a team setting. Experience engaging with diverse stakeholders has equipped you with the ability to build and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships that support shared objectives.
