At Toitū Te Whenua, our Enterprise Platform team is dedicated to ensuring our cloud infrastructure is secure and developed according to best practices while being cost effective. We support a wide range of functions that keep our organisation and customers running smoothly
We are seeking an Experienced Azure engineer to join our growing team. We work in squads using Agile practices and, in this role, you will work closely within your squad in growing and maturing our Azure environment with a strong focus on Azure products and capabilities. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring our cloud environment is robust, scalable, and secure.
As an Experienced Azure Engineer, you will help us get the most out of our available tools and products to enhance our growing Azure tenancy and bring together the different product suites. You will be at the forefront of developing and supporting our systems, allowing you to make a significant impact and shape the future of our cloud environment.
He pūkenga tou - Skills & Experience
- Deep knowledge of Azure services (e.g., Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Active Directory (Entra), Azure DevOps, Power Platforms)
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 products (e.g., Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange Online)
- Experience with Azure infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g.,Terraform)
- Experience operating in an Agile environment
- Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and best practices
- Excellent analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve Azure and M365 infrastructure issues
- Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate)
- 3+ years of experience working with Azure services and Microsoft 365 products
- Comfortable engaging directly with internal customers to understand their needs
The annual full-time salary range for this role is $130,000 to $150,000 depending on skills and experience
