Senior Backend Developer (Node.js & Kafka) | Contract | Auckland
We are looking for a seasoned Backend Developer with strong proficiency in Node.js and Apache Kafka, who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment, and is great at building scalable clean, efficient, and event-driven solutions.
In this role you'll be responsible for designing and developing APIs, integrating microservices, and ensuring smooth real-time data streaming between systems. You'll bring:
- Proven hands-on experience with Node.js and Kafka
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines,...
- Experience in financial services is a plus.
