We are looking for two experienced Senior Business Analysts
to support a significant payroll remediation programme
within the public sector.

About the Role:
You will play a critical role in a multi-disciplinary team, working to ensure payroll systems and processes are fully compliant, transparent, and efficient.
The focus will be on remediation, historical analysis, and future-proofing solutions – all within a complex and high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead requirements gathering and analysis for payroll remediation workstreams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, policy, HR, finance, and technical specialists
- Translate complex legislative and business rules into system and process requirements
- Document and maintain high-quality business analysis artefacts aligned to BABOK best practices
- Provide input into solution design and ensure alignment with business needs and programme objectives
- Support testing and validation of payroll changes and remediation outcomes
You are an analytical thinker with a strong background in business analysis and a deep understanding of payroll systems, especially in large or public sector environments. You are comfortable navigating complexity, managing ambiguity, and delivering results under tight timelines.
To be successful, you’ll bring:
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in complex programmes
- Specific experience working on payroll programmes, ideally involving remediation or compliance work
- Strong working knowledge of BABOK frameworks and business analysis methodologies
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment
