The opportunity                           

At the Office of the Auditor-General | Te Mana Arotake, we're committed to modernising and transforming our operations to meet future challenges. As part of our ISSP team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our long-term strategy and ensuring alignment with evolving business needs. 
                                        

We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our ISSP (Information Systems Strategic Plan) team and play a key role in driving the modernisation and transformation of our Office. 

Reporting to the ISSP Director, you'll lead the business analysis practice in developing frameworks, guiding analysts, and shaping how we deliver digital initiatives. You'll engage across all levels of the Office, lead the requirements process, and help adopt Cloud-based solutions.

To be successful in this role, you'll need: 

  • a minimum of 5 years' experience in business analysis across complex projects;
  • a solutions-focused mindset, with strong communication and influencing skills;
  • experience in design thinking, process modelling, and journey mapping; and
  • confidence presenting to and engaging with diverse stakeholders. 

A relevant tertiary qualification, and CCBA, CBAP, or equivalent is desirable. Knowledge of Information Management and the Public Records Act and experience with leading and delivering Cloud-based projects for corporate services, including HRIS or FMIS, will also be an advantage.
