Join our team and use your experience as a data analyst to support the delivery of our Payroll and HRIS Replacement Programme.
Mō tēnei tūranga - about the role
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced data migration analyst to support our data migration and reporting workstream within our payroll and HRIS replacement programme. You will get hands on with the data where you will be the expert. On a day to day basis you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring quality and integrity of data as we migrate from our legacy system to Workday
- Hands-on data profiling, analysis, and documentation
- Creation and maintenance of data mapping
- Collaboration within the organisation, you will be the primary point of contact for data and analysis queries
- Quality assurance and validation to create reconciliation strategies
This is a fixed-term role from now until approximately December 2026, offering the opportunity to make a lasting impact within a high-trust public service environment that supports both career and volunteer personnel across Aotearoa.

Bring your excellent experience as a data analyst. This role involves working across the project team and vendors as you provide support on source data to uncover anomalies and cleans appropriately. You will be highly analytical and work with an collaborative approach.
To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will have:
- Demonstrated experience providing high quality Data Analysis at a senior level
- Strong understanding of HR and Payroll data
- Proven experience in data migration, data warehousing and system implementation
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Clear communication and relationship building skills
