Job Description
Recently re-scoped role reflecting the scale, complexity, and influence within a large, inclusive organisation focused on social impact.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced EA to step into an elevated position supporting two exceptional senior leaders — the CEO and CPO.
In this role, you will…
- Provide senior-level EA support in a complex, fast-paced environment — operating with confidence, discretion, and sound judgement in executive contexts.
- Manage multiple shifting schedules across two leaders — anticipating needs, coordinating travel, and adapting quickly to changing priorities.
- Engage confidently with board members, external and political stakeholders, and senior leaders — polished and professional in managing sensitive conversations.
- Lead and energise the EA community — role modelling excellence, fostering trust, and driving continuous improvement across the network.
- An experienced EA who has supported at C-suite level (ideally at CEO and board level) — you bring credibility, maturity, and a strong understanding of what it takes to operate at the top.
- Proactive and delivery-driven — you anticipate needs, prepare leaders for every engagement, and ensure nothing slips.
- Self-starting and highly organised — you manage competing demands with pace and precision and maintain composure and focus in fast-changing or high-pressure situations.
- Warm, flexible, and grounded — you’re a people person who builds trust quickly, happy to pitch in wherever needed, and never precious about what’s “in scope.” You genuinely enjoy helping others and bring heart to your work.
- A positive culture-builder — trusted, inclusive, and professional, you reflect well on the leaders and team you support.
- Support inspiring leaders: Work directly with the CEO and CPO — both dynamic, future-focused, and driving meaningful transformation.
- Influence how EA support operates: This elevated role offers scope to shape ways of working and contribute to a high-trust, high-impact environment.
- Make a difference: Join a purpose-led organisation delivering tangible, positive change for communities across Aotearoa.
- Work-life balance: Enjoy a hybrid working model (4 days in office, 1 WFH) with flexibility and support built in.
- Scale and complexity: Be part of an office of 200–300 colleagues, within a wider organisation of over 2,800 people nationwide
