- 12 month fixed term contract
- Wellington CBD location
- $150-$160k
Our client requires a capable Senior Financial Accountant/Finance Manager with strong attention to detail and CFIS experience to join the team.
Responsibilities included but are not limited to:
- Overseeing financial accounting and monthly reporting.
- Oversee the finance team
- Assisting in the year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
- Having a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Monitoring internal controls and ensure robustness of systems.
- Have the ability to communicate and develop relationships across the organisation
- Working with auditors.
To be considered, you will be:
- CA qualified, with relevant work experience within the public sector.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, able to build effective working relationships both internally and externally.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
