Whanganui Hospital is seeking applications from suitably qualified Senior House officers for a variety of runs. To apply for this role, you must be  a PGY3.  For our UK applicants you will need to have completed your foundation years 1 & 2. 

We have several runs available for you to work in. These include the following:

  • Emergency
  • General Medicine
  • Relief covering absences across the hospital

Our hospital serves a population of approximately 60,000. We have more than 50 RMOs working in General Medicine, Mental Health, Emergency, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, O&G, Paediatrics, Anaesthetic Departments and as Relievers. These positions do include night and weekend shifts on a rotating roster.
