We are looking for a senior level public sector finance professional to deliver high-quality public sector financial reporting, co-ordinate Enterprise-level budgeting processes, cost allocations, forecasts and reporting.
You will be;
- highly experienced in public sector finance
- experienced leading budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes in a complex organisation.
- a proactive self-starter, comfortable working in ambiguity, and driven.
- a very strong communicator across both relationship-building and reporting to Governance.
Deliverables
- High-quality and timely monthly financial performance reports
- Budget co-ordination, stakeholder engagement, analysis, and reporting
- Timely and accurate allocation runs
- Crown Revenue and Capital Charge budget update and re-forecast
- Ad hoc analysis reports and recommendations
Experience and skills sought:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting or strategic finance roles.
- Experience delivering high-quality, timely, and accurate reporting to Governance
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Proficiency in Enterprise financial systems and CFISnet.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination abilities
- Proven ability to lead complex budgeting processes and deliver under tight deadlines
- Strong data visualization skills using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools beneficial.
