Join our team and use your experience as a management accountant to support the delivery of our Payroll and HRIS Replacement Programme.
Mō tēnei tūranga - about the role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Management accountant support our payroll and HRIS replacement programme. Your responsibilities will include:
- Strengthening financial management and business performance
- Completing strategic financial analysis and providing financial advice
- Supporting multiple project and programme teams with reporting and forecasting
- Undertaking risk assessments, reviews, financial modelling, and data analytic
This is a fixed-term role from now until approximately December 2026, offering the opportunity to make a lasting impact within a high-trust public service environment that supports both career and volunteer personnel across Aotearoa.
Ko tāu nā i tēnei tūranga - What you'll bring to the role:
Bring your experience in management accounting and providing high quality insightful financial reporting within a large and complex organisation. You will have excellent communication skills to explain complex information to a wide audience. You will be proactive and organised with the ability to work to a deadline.
To be successful in this role, we'd expect you will:
- Proven ability to write clear and concise documentation for a wide range of audiences
- You will be a CA or have equivalent experience
- Excellent relationship management and confidence working with executive leadership
- Strong understanding of budgeting and forecasting
- Experience fast moving project or programme environments
