About the Role:
- Manage and support full-cycle, rolling fortnightly payroll for multiple clients.
- Ensure compliance with NZ employment law (Holidays Act, ERA, Minimum Wage Act, etc).
- Tackle complex pay structures, allowances, bonuses, and entitlements with ease.
- Conduct regular payroll reviews to maintain data integrity and consistency.
- Reconcile reports and troubleshoot discrepancies, escalating as needed.
- 8+ years of NZ payroll experience dealing with high volume
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and best practices
- Advanced Excel skills and keen analytical thinking
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments
- Ideally experience with datapay
