Senior Policy Advisor contractor (submissions analysis/Select Committee)

We are recruiting for 2 x Senior Policy Advisors for a Wellington-based, hourly-rate contract role.

You will need to be available to start a new role immediately (in April). The contract duration will be between 2-6 months.

This will be a hands-on role, mucking in to support this team’s work: analysing and summarising submissions; making recommendations to the Select Committee; potentially attending Select Committee.

Required experience and skills:

• Experienced at a Senior Policy Advisor level
• Previous experience doing Submissions Analysis; a proven ability to analyse and summarise lots of submissions
• Strong writing skills
• Experienced in the Select Committee process
• Solid understanding of the MoG
