Senior Policy contractor

We are recruiting for 2 x Senior Policy Advisors for a short-term, Wellington-based, hourly-rate contract role.

You will need to be available to start a new role immediately upon accepting an offer. The contract duration is up to 2 months.

This will be a hands-on role, filling in while a permanent recruitment process takes place. The work is on a systems Reform: following a recent consultation process, the next steps are to work up some policy options for the Minister.

Required experience and skills:

• Experienced at a Senior Policy Advisor level
• Able to turn around policy advice at speed
• Policy analysis and providing clear policy advice
• Adept at writing Briefings to the Minister
• Treaty experience / understanding implications for Policy advice - (advantageous)
• Solid understanding of the MoG
