Mō te tūnga | About the role
As Senior Project Coordinator for the Accelerated Capacity Project (ACP), you will play a key role in supporting the efficient delivery of multiple infrastructure projects. Your work will span planning, procurement, execution, and close-out, with a focus on vertical and horizontal infrastructure in live custodial environments.
You will contribute to urgent prison capacity initiatives, supporting infrastructure enhancements and helping Project Managers scope, define, and plan capital projects through the Corrections initiative lifecycle. Your responsibilities will also include managing project finances, reporting, risk, compliance and supporting the development of project artifacts for governance and investment.
This is a unique opportunity to gain specialised experience in a fast-paced and high-impact team contributing to one of the Department's most significant infrastructure programmes.

To be successful in this role you will bring:
- Proven project co-ordination experience in assets, property, or construction, utilising best-practice methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Experience in supporting change control, document management, and compliance processes.
- Strong compliance monitoring and reporting skills, ensuring projects adhere to regulatory and organisational standards.
- Experience within P3M3, change, and benefits frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to assist with the preparation of reports and business cases.
- Flexibility to travel as required.
Utu ā-tau | Salary
The midpoint of the salary range is $98,888 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $84,055 - $118,666 per annum. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
