Job Description
We are on the lookout for a Senior Recruitment Advisor to join our client on a six-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will take the lead in providing strategic and hands-on recruitment support to managers—helping them attract and hire top talent. You will also contribute to shaping effective recruitment frameworks and processes across the organisation.
What you will be doing:
- Partnering with people leaders to deliver expert recruitment advice and support, from job adverts to interview guides.
- Leading end-to-end recruitment processes with a focus on quality, efficiency, and candidate experience.
- Coaching hiring managers to build confidence and capability in recruitment and selection—while upholding public service responsibilities including Te Tiriti obligations.
- Designing and executing smart, targeted sourcing strategies to reach high-quality candidates.
- Engaging creatively with candidates via job boards, social media, and referral networks.
- Managing relationships with external recruitment providers when needed.
What you will bring:
- 4+ years’ experience in a corporate recruitment environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills—especially with leaders who need more support or guidance.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to resourcing challenges.
- A commitment to inclusive hiring practices and continuous improvement.
- Confidence working withenterprise-wide systems such as SAP SuccessFactorsto support recruitment processes.
- A collaborative mindset and ability to workclosely alongside other teamsto deliver joined-up people solutions.
Salary:
$99,494 – $114,332 per annum (pro rata) + 3% KiwiSaver. Final salary will reflect skills and experience.
