About the Role
The Senior Solution Architect plays a critical role in the design and delivery of digital platforms, services, and products that support strategic outcomes and enhance access to high-quality, timely care. With a strong focus on execution, the role operates at both an advisory and delivery level, working in close collaboration with cross-functional teams including digital, business, and clinical leaders, as well as technology partners. The Senior Solution Architect provides expert guidance to ensure digital solutions are aligned with the enterprise digital architecture framework, are future-ready, and fully integrated across the organisation to maximise value and impact.
About the Team/Service/ Location
The Senior Solution Architect position is part of the Digital Design team, reporting to the Architecture Manager within the wider Digital Health Strategy & Design function. This team is responsible for shaping digital service roadmaps and delivering adaptable, user-centred solution designs. Operating at the intersection of strategic planning and innovative design, the team plays a critical role in ensuring that digital strategies and system architectures align with enterprise architecture standards and best practices. Through an integrated approach that combines architecture and design thinking, the team supports the development of scalable, future-focused digital health solutions that drive improved healthcare outcomes and enhance the experiences of both the workforce and people.
About you
The ideal candidate is a seasoned digital leader with a strong technical foundation and a strategic mindset. They bring a collaborative approach, a deep commitment to equity and innovation in healthcare, and a drive to foster continuous improvement and system reliability. As a trusted leader, they inspire cross-functional teams and promote best practices across digital platforms and services. You will also have the following skills and experience to support your success in the role:
- Over 5 years of progressive experience in solution design, architecture, or engineering within a technology-focused organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex solution design initiatives from requirements gathering through to implementation.
- Strong understanding of technology platforms, integration approaches, and architecture standards, with a user-centred design focus.
- Experience delivering digital health solutions in complex healthcare environments (preferred).
