About the Role

The purpose of this role is to provide effective and efficient administrative duties within the Cancer & Blood and Radiology Services, tending to enquiries and clerical duties to support nursing and medical staff ensuring a patient centred approach. You will also provide administrative support to the Management team in Cancer & Blood and Radiology Services.

 

About the Team/Service/Location

Cancer & Blood and Radiology services are looking for a highly organised, detail-orientated Personal Assistant with a passion for supporting healthcare teams.  This is a shared position between two very dynamic services.  Joining these services can offer a stimulating and fulfilling career with the unique opportunity to contribute to vital areas of healthcare.

About you

Essential

  • Prior experience in administrative role
  • Ability to work autonomously without supervision and adaptable to change
  • Demonstrated competence with IT software
  • Excellent keyboard skills to include speed, accuracy, layout, and presentation
  • Ability to take notes and transcribe proceedings of meetings accurately
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

Desirable

  • Prior healthcare administration experience
  • Qualifications in computer-based literacy and customer service
  • Experience in healthcare and roster development
  • Knowledge of Patient Management System (WebPAS), PACS and Karisma
