Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

A rare opportunity has arisen for someone who is ready to embark on an exciting new role as Service Clinical Director, Level 8 Adult and Emergency OR’s and the Greenlane Surgical Unit OR’s.

In this pivotal role your focus will be ensuring the efficient functioning of the Level 8 and Greenlane Surgical Unit operating rooms and professional practice of the anaesthetists working in both areas. Working in partnership with the senior clinical staff of the unit, the Service Clinical Director will take responsibility for the operational and clinical aspects of the service delivery.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills

As the ideal candidate, you will be a vocationally registered Anaesthetist with proven clinical expertise in Adult and Emergency Anaesthesia and will have experience in a leadership role ideally with a management qualification. You must have substantive knowledge of the New Zealand Health system with experience in the relevant field. The role involves both clinical time and clinical director responsibilities.
