Our client leads not only nationally but globally in what they do. With a large pipeline of exciting upcoming and existing projects, we are on the hunt for a technically astute but sales savvy individual who has demonstrated a strong career thus far to take on this challenge as Service Manager.

The Role:
In this role you will oversee both the Service department for the North Island. The Service Manager will be overseeing the delivery of all projects and development of the accounts as well as managing and growing profitability of the department.

You will extract maximum value from all current and future customers including Servicing, Support, Repair, Parts sales, Maintenance, Calibration and Certification of the products.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for continual growth and improvement of Service Dept and profit performance
  • Actively participate in business planning and setting budgets
  • Mentorship and leadership of service technicians
  • Work with new and existing customers to maximise the sales of parts and labour for signed service contracts, preventative maintenance, breakdowns and calibration work
  • Client Account Management and identifying business opportunities
  • Oversee the use of all automation and weighing equipment
  • Actively pursue continuous improvement of systems, processes, documentation and administration.
  • To organise & arrange resources, tools, parts, transport, cranes, logistics and training etc. for Field Service personnel who will be installing/commissioning/service and certifying these projects.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
  • Commercially savvy and experience in a similar role
  • Ability to grow and develop relationships across different levels of personnel
  • Sales experience of technical products and services
  • Strong organisational skills and strong multi-tasker
  • Exceptional attention to detail and highly numerate
  • Confident, accountable outgoing, self-driven and personable
  • A Tertiary Qualification in electronics, mechatronics, electronic, electrical engineering, instrumentation/controls, mechanical engineering, programming or similar required.
  • Good understanding of electronic and mechanical hardware, electrical installations and automation
  • Good electrical and mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to analyse and understand technical specification, wiring schematics and drawings
