Solution Architect | Contract | Auckland
We’re looking for a seasoned professional to lead the architecture of complex software solutions, collaborating closely with Product Owners and development teams.
In this role, you’ll guide the design of distributed systems, set technical standards, and ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and continuously improving. You’ll be hands-on with programming, working with a range of technologies including React, .NET, Node, Java, and Go, with a strong focus on cloud solutions (Azure preferred).
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and communicate solution architecture with development teams
- Align design and implementation with product roadmaps and technical vision
- Set and maintain best practices in software delivery
- Manage technical debt and ensure long-term scalability
To be successful in this role you'll hit the ground running and bring:
- 8+ years of experience in software architecture and development
- Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages
- Experience with agile methodologies and lean product roadmaps
- Knowledge of streaming/messaging platforms like Kafka (desirable)
