Contract: Permanent, Full Time, Monday to Friday - business hours (Shifts cover 7am-5pm, 8 hours per day)

About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in the Radiology Department at Wellington Hospital.
The Nuclear Medicine department has one dual head SPECT/CT gamma camera - a Siemens Intevo Bold with a diagnostic CT. The diagnostic CT is also used to support the Radiology CT department. We are currently in the process of replacing a second dual head SPECT/CT system.
Radiopharmaceuticals are prepared on site, and we perform approximately 2500 procedures annually. Diagnostic procedures include skeletal, renal, cardiac, gastrointestinal, sentinel lymph node and tumour imaging. We also perform therapeutic procedures including Iodine131 and Yittrium90.
This role is suitable for a dual scope MIT/NMT or a NMT with a CT enabling SOP.

About the Team/Service/Location
The Nuclear Medicine team at Wellington Hospital are experienced, friendly and keen to welcome the next generation of NMT - s to our profession. We are members of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine https://www.anzsnm.org.au/ and enjoy collaborating with our colleagues both from within our district and across New Zealand.
We are supported and encouraged to attend CPD events, by presenting and as attendees. In-house CPD mornings take place with the Radiology department, where cross-modality learning can take place. With no shift work or on call service, the Nuclear Medicine team find the balance between work and life easy to maintain. Daily shifts range from 7am to 5pm, great for an early finish, or a later start. No two days are the same, the flexibility and variety of imaging and therapy that we provide makes for an interesting and satisfying work day.

About you
- Current registration and APC with MRTB in NM SOP
- It would be an advantage to have the MRTB CT enabling condition - Perform diagnostic CT - s independently - if NM SOP only
