Storeperson

Are you physically fit, safety-conscious, and ready to join a busy logistics team? We’re looking for a reliable Storeperson to join our clients team at their well-equipped logistics centre in Wigram, Christchurch.

👷What you'll be doing:

• Unloading inbound glass line-haul units safely and efficiently - you need to be physically fit and strong!
• Sorting and reloading freight for deliveries
• Checking freight documentation and keeping accurate records
• Operating in a well-equipped, safety-focused logistics centre
• Working autonomously and able to self-manage workload
• Ideally you will have some experience operating a forklift and have a current licence. Training can be provided for the right person!

⏰ Shift: Thursday to Sunday day shift | Minimum of 32 hours per week.

You could be our ideal candidate if you are:

• Current forklift OSH certificate, ideally with F endorsement only
• Minimum class 1 drivers licence, HT licences advantageous
• A good understanding of safe loading practices and transport legislation
• Physically fit and happy to keep active on the job
• Positive attitude with willingness to learn. You'll work autonomously and independently!

You will also be living in New Zealand and have a legal right to work here, with a clean criminal history and able to pass a pre-employment drug test
