The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced storesperson with a great work ethic and can do attitude. Based in Wiri, Auckland working within the warehouse operations team. The role is fast paced, high intensity but equally as rewarding.  This is full-time position, Monday-Friday.

Ideally, you have a proven background in warehouse operations but good attitude and core transferable skills will be highly regarded

You will show a strong commitment to Tyremax’s values and ethos through your leadership, communication, management, and personability.

• A starting rate of $31.60 per hour
• Weekly vehicle allowance of $60 per week
• Medical insurance for you and your immediate family
• Monthly bonus of $330 providing incentive target is hit
• 50 hours per week 7:00am – 5:30pm
• Uniform provided

The Role:

• Pick orders and dispatch, including internal stock transfers.
• Oversee inbound shipments and container deliveries and collections.
• Process incoming goods, including stock transfers and goods return.
• Meet all picking targets with 98% accuracy.
• Ensure stock accuracy, stock levels, returns, claims are all dealt with in a timely manner in accordance with relevant processes.
• Drive continuous adherence to Health and Safety culture

• Assist with general warehousing duties as required
• Maintain high performance and positive moral within the team
• Work alongside Transport team

 
You'll Need:

• Good level of physical fitness (this role is hand on)
• Strong people and communication skills including written English
• Ability to learn and manage systems
• High standard of presentation, professionalism, and integrity.
• Strong communication skills including well developed listening, written and verbal capabilities.
• Strong work ethic and continuously improve performance.
• High level of flexibility, agility and responsiveness.

 
Requirements

• Full Class 1 Drivers License
• Fork Lift, Stock picker or Reach Licence is ideal
• Clear MOJ
• Able to pass pre employment Drug test
• 2 Verbal references
• NZ Residency or Citizenship is ESSENTIAL
• A GREAT attitude
