About the Role:

You’ll be joining a highly skilled structural team, working across diverse and challenging projects. Your role will involve concept through to detailed design, client and contractor liaison, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your technical and leadership skills while contributing to a variety of projects that shape the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver structural design for residential, commercial, and industrial projects
  • Undertake seismic assessments and strengthening solutions
  • Liaise with architects, clients, contractors, and local authorities
  • Prepare calculations, reports, and detailed design documentation
  • Conduct site visits and provide construction monitoring
Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years’ New Zealand consultancy experience
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as ETABS, SAP2000, and/or SPACE GASS
  • Strong understanding of NZ building codes and standards
  • Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience
