Survivor Experiences Service

Te Tari Taiwhenua provides continued support to Survivors of abuse in care through the Survivor Experiences Service.

The Survivor Experiences Service provides a safe, supportive, confidential place for Survivors to share their experiences of abuse in care, to support healing. The Service supports Survivors to locate and obtain their personal records related to their time in care.

Survivor Insights Analyst role

As the Survivor Insights Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing Survivor feedback, and insights from Survivor communities and advocates, Service kaimahi, and contracted providers, to capture information to enhance and improve practice.

To be successful in this role you will have demonstratable experience in:

  • Analysing a range of data to design and develop dashboards and reports that provide thematical insights into performance and that will support decision-making
  • Utilising qualitative and quantitative data for forecasting for future business planning
  • Writing a range of reports and process documents for different audiences
  • Collating and presenting insights to the team, senior leaders and a board
  • Leading and supporting data maturity uplift programmes within the Service
  • Working across multiple teams to produce collective and agreeable outcomes that will install improved data collection processes
  • Developing strong working relationships with senior leadership and other team members.
  • Working in a team that regularly manages ambiguity
  • Having strong resilience and emotional strength, sound judgement and tact in dealing with complex and sensitive issues.
  • Managing complex issues and projects, and to make sense of quickly evolving situations

You'll be joining a team passionate about supporting Survivors of abuse in care. This is a new role giving you the ability to contribute to shaping the data management and uplift strategy as well as improving Service performance based on your findings and reporting this to high levels of government.
