20 to 25 hours per week | Drive Change and Enhance Processes Leveraging Data Insights

The company
This business is a NZ owned and operated world leader in developing regenerative packaging solutions designed to leave the world a better place.  Actively improving the world, we live in today is what inspires them every day to do better.   We are seeking an experienced part time Analyst to come and support the CFO to help improve financial efficiencies in the business to help get better visibility for reporting across the business.   
  
The role
Reporting directly to the CFO and working between 20 to 25 hours a week for approximately 6 months or until the new financial structure is confirmed you will be responsible for :-

  • Financial reporting - Supporting the business through month end ensuing the finance processes are correctly completed.
  • Supporting the CFO with producing monthly reporting including working with stakeholders to use date to provide ad hoc reporting to the business.
  • Utilizing data to provide insights to the business.
  • Investigating reporting tools options.
  • Data Integrity – ensuring the data used is correct and investigating any data issues and implementing change to fix
  • Process Improvement – reviewing current system process to support best practice including supporting the business with various system related issues as they arise
  
About you
  • Advanced Excel Proficiency: Skilled in using spreadsheets, ensuring data integrity, and maintaining accurate and reliable information and prior experience using Power BI
  • Analytical Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a system Analyst, with a strong focus on data integrity.
  • Process Improvement Expertise: Proven track record of streamlining and implementing processes to enhance efficiency in dynamic business environments.
  •  Accounting Experience: Over 3 years of experience working as an Accountant
  • Ability to build strong relationships with a range different stakeholder.
  • Proven experience explaining financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Strong critical thinker with an eye for both the details and “the big picture”;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
