Job Description

Utilise your Outbound Contact Centre Team Leader experience. Motivate your team to meet targets in a company which impacts people's lives & health.

The Company
This organisation is on a mission to help people live longer, healthier, happier lives. They’ve been connecting Kiwis with life-changing clinical trials for 12 years now. They're a fast-moving, purpose-led company where your work directly contributes to better patient outcomes.

The Role

  • Seeking a dynamic, agile Team Leader for a call centre environment
  • Ideally from a Sales environment to motivate your team to meet KPIs
  • Think outbound contact centre, with real impact on people’s lives and health
  • Your team makes outbound calls to potential participants, qualifies them for clinical trials, and helps get them booked in to see the relevant medical experts.
  • This is a leadership role first and foremost
  • Lead by example by providing the highest standard of customer service
  • 3 permanent full-time direct reports (this may increase temporarily during campaigns)
  • You'll coach, mentor, manage KPIs, and keep the energy high, even when things shift quickly (which they do often!).
  • During busy times you'll be happy to jump on the phones too
  • You’ll report directly to the GM and work closely with Marketing, external clinical partners, and the wider team to make sure you’re recruiting the right patients, fast, and with care.
  • The success of your team plays a vital role in the overall success of the organisation.
Location: Grafton, Auckland and fully On-site
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–4:30pm
Duration: Permanent, Full-Time
  • This is an on-site position
About You
  • Team Leader experience leading a Sales or Outbound Call Centre team is highly sought after for this opportunity
  • You're a natural people leader who thrives in a contact centre or similar environment.
  • You've managed people before and know how to give feedback that actually helps people grow.
  • You’re detail-focused, enthusiastic, and can adapt at lightning speed when things change.
  • You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and jump on the phones during busy periods
You’ll fit right in if you:
  • Have led a Sales or outbound contact/call centre team
  • Are confident digging deeper—asking the right questions and coaching others to do the same
  • Keep calm under pressure and love working in a fast-paced environment
  • Love processes, people, and purpose
  • Are a “team-first” leader who brings positive energy to work each day
What’s in it for you:
  • $90K–$100K base + potential for a quarterly bonus based on KPIs
  • Be part of a growing industry making real-world impact
  • Team culture that actually celebrates wins— birthday cakes, weekly free fruit provided & shared lunches
  • Supportive leadership and structured training
  • Fun-loving, hard-working, close-knit team
  • Discounts at numerous well-known retail outlets

A bit about Toni, who's recruiting this role

Being the eldest of 9 siblings, I naturally fall into and love the role of nurturer and mentor and I certainly know how to roll with the punches and have a good laugh. Outside whanau and mahi, my happy place is the African continent, searching for new adventures and wild animals.
