About the role:
As a Tenancy Manager, you’ll play a vital role in supporting tenants and their whānau by managing tenancies, resolving issues, and helping people sustain their homes. You’ll be the key contact for tenants, ensuring they feel heard, respected, and supported.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating the placement process for new tenants
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with tenants
- Addressing tenancy and maintenance issues with empathy and efficiency
- Conducting property inspections and following up on outcomes
- Supporting tenants with individual solutions to sustain their housing
- Collaborating with community groups and service providers to support wider social outcomes
- Capturing and representing the voice of tenants in shaping our services
What we’re looking for:
You’re someone who thrives in a people-first, purpose-led environment. You’ll bring compassion, resilience, and a solution-focused approach to everything you do.
You’ll also bring:
- Experience in the property or housing sector (preferred)
- Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems
- Experience working with diverse communities
- A current, full and unrestricted NZ driver’s license

- Resilience and the ability to navigate challenging situations
