TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT PLANNER
Location: Masterton | Full-Time | Join a Leading Traffic Services Team
We’re Hiring a Skilled Traffic Management Planner to join our client in the Wairarapa.

Primarily Office based and $40-$50 per hour depending on experience with possible relocation assistance

Primarily Office based and $40-$50 per hour depending on experience with possible relocation assistance
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Design site-specific TMPs using RapidPlan, aligned with NZGTTM and CoPTTM.
- Turn engineering drawings into safe, practical TMP layouts.
- Identify risks and apply smart, effective traffic control measures.
- Communicate with RCAs, clients and crews for approvals and coordination.
- Ensure compliance with road safety regulations and council standards.
- Create detailed reports and documentation using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Constantly review and refine TMPs to improve efficiency and safety.
- Experience and knowledge of how to complete Risk Assessments
- TTM Planner Certification or STMS Qualification.
- 2+ years’ experience in TTM planning, traffic control, or roadworks.
- Advanced RapidPlan skills + Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Knowledge of NZGTTM, CoPTTM and TMP submission platforms like Submitica.
- Excellent communication and time management and attention to detail.
- A valid New Zealand Driver’s Licence.
- Detail-oriented and safety-focused
- A team player with great problem-solving skills and the ability to juggle multiple jobs and projects at once.
- Able to work independently and manage tight deadlines
- Self-driven with a passion for smart planning
