Expression of interest - Warehouse/Storeperson roles.
We are looking for candidates throughout the Waikato region. Hours may vary Monday to Friday. Hourly rate: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on experience and client specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general labour duties as assigned, including but not limited to lifting and moving materials, general cleaning and assisting skilled tradespeople.
- Inspecting and quality checks on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.
- Follow safety guidelines and always maintain a safe work environment.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
- Safely operate forklift.
Candidates should possess:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
- Attitude and adaptability while showing a willingness to be part of the growing team.
- Knowledge and previous experience of site safety rules and regulations in a warehousing environment
- Reliable transport and clean full driver's license.
- Two professional work references.
- Willingness to learn and being able to use initiative.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Pass a pre-employment drug.
- Pass a pre-employment MOJ criminal convictions check.
- Punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
