Are you passionate about making workplaces safer, healthier, and more engaging? Approx. 1-2 month contract to focus on multiple exciting projects.
Key points on the role:
Location: Auckland CBD
Hours: 30–40 hours per week (your choice!)
Contract Length: 1–2 months (flexible depending on project completion)
We’re seeking a Safety & Wellbeing Advisor/Coordinator to support our client’s People team through a series of key projects over the next 1–2 months. This is a contract role based on-site in Auckland’s CBD, offering flexibility between 30–40 hours per week.
About the Role:
You’ll hit the ground running, taking ownership of six core projects, including refreshing safety onboarding materials, developing short e-learning modules, reviewing policies, and enhancing wellbeing engagement initiatives. Your ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, manage your time independently, and produce clear, actionable outcomes will be key to your success.
Key Projects You'll Lead:
- Refresh the Safety & Wellbeing onboarding e-learning module
- Create a Workstation Ergonomics e-learning module
- Review and update the Client Sites Policy
- Develop Return to Work guidance
- Increase reporting of incidents, near misses, and hazards
- Collate the 2025 Sitewise application
- Engage and educate workers and officers on safety and wellbeing topics, making them accessible and relevant.
- Some understanding of health, safety, and wellbeing (previous dedicated S&W experience is a bonus but not essential)
- Tech-savvy – comfortable with PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and online learning platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident working autonomously and managing time effectively
- Able to collect, analyse, and interpret information and provide clear recommendations
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to making a real impact in a short timeframe
- Flexibility to work 30–40 hours per week (you decide!)
