Mō te tūnga | About the role
This role reports to our Housing & Support Manager within our wider Delivery group. The work is varied, stimulating and challenging.
The Workflow Coordinator is responsible for driving the successful delivery of the change to Transitional Housing and other funding products, including a broad range of processes to support funding approvals, reporting, data management and formation of inputs for overall product performance and management. The role is a key link between the Housing & Support group and other HUD internal groups and decision-makers.
In this role you will: - Request, receive, review, compile and share information and documentation to meet internal and external requirements
- Maintain records and documentation for plans, programmes and processes, applying sound information management practices
- Assign actions to people, following up as needed to check completion within agreed timeframes
- Develop and maintain relationships with people internally and externally, supporting others to understand and meet workflow requirements, and responding to queries or issues
- Proactively identify workflow risks or issues, resolving or escalating these as appropriate
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience
- Coordinate or contribute to ad hoc or regular reporting.
The salary range for this role is $64,782 - $79,179 +3% Kiwisaver contribution.

You will have strong attention to detail, be highly organised, and self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
You will also bring: - Knowledge and experience of administration systems and processes, including a practical ability to apply relevant legislation
- Experience supporting workflow in a dynamic environment, responding to changes in priorities and timeframes
- Interpersonal skills, with an ability to build effective relationships at all levels of an organisation, both internally and externally
- Proven ability to work methodically to deliver quality work, with high attention to detail
- Ability to identify opportunities and issues that may impact workflow, and navigate these or seek guidance/advice as required
- Sound digital literacy, and the ability to learn and support others in the use of new workflow tools and applications
- A team player, adept in your role and proactive about sharing your skills to support others
- Ideally, you will have experience in the public service or central government.
